A smouldering night of song steeped in raw sensuality, elegance
and Spanish spice from international diva, Maria Tecce. The music
of Eartha Kitt, Led Zeppelin and Nina Simone
meet sizzling Argentinean tango, all served up with Tecce's
fiery, passionate style combining seductive vocals with
the beguiling command of a leading actress.
"Her cheekbones can slice a man's ego in half, her smile could thaw Siberia,
and the way she might direct her finely sculpted eyebrows at you is only frightening." -- The Times
"A total striptease without removing so much as a shoe.” --
The Observer
"Sheer class... haunting.” -- The List
"... Sultry or seductive seem wholly ineffectual when measured
against the actual reality of this woman. A siren... powerfully
gifted... masterful".

William Shakespeare’s words have a powerful present
day resonance in the life of a woman seeking intimacy and her
place in the world. In this solo show, created and performed by
Mary MacDonald Hamill, the voices of Hamlet, Prospero, Ophelia,
Juliet, St. Joan, King Lear ... are intertwined with her
own deeply personal autobiography. Intrigue and disaster on the
Broadway stage (where Ms. Hamill has played opposite such luminaries
as Carol Channing, Sid Caesar, Judd Hirsch) reveal a mysterious
aspect of life on the stage seldom contemplated. The New York
Times has called Ms. Hamill a performer of “dignity and grace”.
Incidental music by Michael Welsh. Directed by Eddie Lew. "Profoundly moving!
... astonishing biographical pieces standing side by side with
the grandness of Shakespeare’s declarations ... Ms. Hamill is
a shining stage presence” -- Kevin Goetz, Emmy nominated producer
“Riveting! The relevance of Shakespeare’s words brought into
our very lives.” -- Rachelle Benveniste, poet
